The Hunter Valley Quarter Horse Association Committee has put together a number of show dates which are now available from our Event Calendar. We are hoping to run two back to back shows in November and again in March, the 'AA' show on the Sunday will depend on the number of entries that we received and the amount of interest shown by our members. So please show your support to your committee members to ensure that we can run these shows for you.
Please remember that our members and competitors are what will make our club a success.
Presidents Report
Welcome to yet another year of showing.
We started off last year with a new committee all revved up and excited to get the club up and running again, but with the EI Epidemic hitting NSW & QLD all shows were put on a halt for that year. Yet we still stuck together with the thought that things will be right again.
So here we are again with some old and some new committee members. We are still all revved up and excited to get the show season up and running and that is under way with the first show set for the 14th September.
We are hoping to have our monthly shows on the 2nd Sunday of every month with even some back to back to shows as well. Along the way clinics will be organized for everyone to take part in.
So myself an the HVQHA Committee welcome both old and new members the experienced and the beginners and we hope you can all come help support our clue in becoming as strong and friendly as it has been in the past.
We hope to see you at the next show.

With the forming of our new committee we have elected to concentrate on getting our club up and running as strong as it has been in the past. We have decided to bet back on track with our monthly shows which will be held on the 2nd Sunday of every month and maybe some back to back shows on Saturdays and Sundays
Also to see if people are keen to hold some clinics ( if anyone is interested please let us know)
We are working on doing some intensive repair work on the arena and its drainage and we will be holding some working bees at the arena so any help will be greatly appreciated so keep checking back on the website to see when they will be held.
On behalf of the committee we would like to welcome both old and new members to our club and we would appreciate any input or ideas that you might have. Please dont hesitate in contacting us and we look forward to seeing you at our first show on the 14th September.
