Well, the HVQHA has held the last activity for the show year. Unfortunately, the club has not had a successful year in so much as the number of activities we have been able to conduct, as for economic reasons we have had to cancel shows and clinics due to unfavourable weather and poor attendance.
We finished on a good note however, with a clinic that went very well thanks to Pauline, providing some tune ups for the big shows which are approaching quickly.
Thank you Pauline and Peter for all your help on Saturday, thanks also to Garry for his contribution with getting the van out and again repairing the lock, and Desarae and Bob for their generous hospitality in accommodating Pauline and Peter.
Thanks to the people behind the scenes who are not on the committee, whose contribution throughout the year you may not see during a show. The people who can be called on to drag the pen, mow and whippersnip the ground, fix the sprinklers, get the van and trail gear out and put away at the end of the show.
Thanks also to the committee and members who without their support and committment, there would be no club.
I would like to take the opportunity to wish all competitors great success at their national shows.
